Trevor 'Superman' Ormerod
Trevor Ormerod is a former archaeologist who spent 8 years digging in Egypt and Northern Ontario before becoming certified as a teacher 11 years ago.  He holds a  B.A. and M.Sc. from the University of Toronto as well as a B.Ed. From Brock and additional qualifications from OISE in History, Special Education and ESL.  

Trevor has  been teaching with the Peel District School Board for ten years, most recently as a program resource consultant.  In September 2010, he will be returning to a school as a Special Education and ESL In-School Support Teacher.

In his spare time, Trevor enjoys reading, writing and listening to the ocean from the deck of his new home in PEI!

  Vera C. Teschow is a Certified Ontario Teacher who has experience in a variety of contexts.  She has worked in Peel for ten years, first as a classroom teacher, then a program resource consultant, and finally as acting vice principal before returning to the classroom to teach a 3/4 class with that Board.  She has also participated on Board and Ministry LNS research and writing teams, developed and instructed courses with the Peel Summer Academy (PSA), Soul Drums and the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) Summer Club for Kids, and is the director of Discover Toronto: A Multiple Intelligences Approach to the City, a summer program for Gifted learners.  
                                    
Vera holds a B.Ed., and an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto.  In addition, she is certified in Music, Primary Instruction, Special Education and ESL, and has recently completed her Masters Degree in Education at OISE in Toronto. 

Over the past several years, Vera has worked extensively with Tyndale University’s Dept of Education, teaching courses in Classroom Management, Differentiated Instruction, the Arts and ESL.  She now works at Tyndale full time as an Assistant Professor with pre-service teacher candidates in the primary-junior and junior-intermediate divisions. 

In her spare time, Vera enjoys making music, designing websites, volunteering with refugees & immigrants in Toronto and reading books w/ her 6-year-old twin boys.
